APPOINTEE NAME TERM Rowan Nichols-Barry Albuquerque, NM 87114 May 1, 2029 Rowan Nichols Barry is a freshman at The ASK Academy in Rio Rancho, where they focus on STEM coursework and serve as Dungeon Master for the school's Tabletop Gaming Club. In that role, Rowan plans long-form narratives, manages group dynamics, and leads weekly sessions for peers - work that has built real skills in organization, communication, and creative problem-solving. A lifelong Albuquerque resident, Rowan grew up attending Sierra Vista Elementary School and has strong roots in the community. Rowan is applying to the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council with an interest in civic issues that affect young people in the city, and brings a perspective shaped by life as a current ABQ-area high schooler. A resident of City Council District 5, Rowan Nichols-Barry will fill a vacancy and serve as an At Large Representative on the Council; their first term will expire on May 1, 2029.
