INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM January 22, 2026 TO: Klarissa J. Pe?a, President, City Council FROM: Timothy M. Keller, Mayor SUBJECT: title Mayor's re-appointment of Mr. Renn Halstead to the Environmental Planning Commission body I am submitting for your advice and consent the following name for reappointment to the Environmental Planning Commission in accordance with the City of Albuquerque Ordinance 14-13-3-1. APPOINTEE NAME TERM Mr. Renn Halstead January 1, 2029 Albuquerque, New Mexico 87120 Mr. Renn Halstead is an associate architect at FBT Architects, an architectural firm based in Albuquerque. During his tenure there, he has completed over 150 new construction and renovation projects for Sandia National Laboratories including the site's Advanced Computing Center, Agile Laboratory Facility, and Data Center. He's also completed a number of other projects including higher education, office, and community center buildings. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and his Master of Architecture, both from the University of New Mexico. Mr. Halstead serves at the Urban Land Institute NM as a board member and the Construction Leadership Council as a steering committee member. Mr. Halstead's vast experience as an architect and roots in New Mexico would allow him to serve as an in-house expert on the Commission. A resident of Council District 7, Mr. Renn Halstead will continue to serve as an At-Large member on the Commission; and the term will expire on January 1, 2029.
