SUMMARY: The owner/applicant is requesting to amend Article 6, Chapter 10 of Wellington's Land Development Regulations (LDR) by creating Subarea G of the EOZD and to establish development regulations for Subarea G. The request is for development of the 150 acre Flying Cow Ranch project to allow 30 residential/equestrian/aviation lots, clubhouse, maintenance facility and enhance the existing private airstrip. The proposed Subarea G is to establish property development regulations for the unique character of the proposed project with the combined equestrian and aviation uses. The LDR currently has limited regulations for landing strip, taxiway and hangars.
