Summary To: Town Commission From: Gay Lancaster, Town Manager Date: 5/19/2026 ______________________________________________________________________ Subject: Title Approval of Interlocal Agreements for Disaster Debris Collection and Removal Coordination Summary: The attached Interlocal Agreements with Pinellas County are intended to improve coordination and efficiency for post-disaster debris collection and removal. The agreements provide the Town with access to pre-qualified debris removal and monitoring contractors through the County's procurement process and clarify debris collection responsibilities between the County and municipalities to avoid duplication of services. Commission approval will strengthen emergency response coordination, streamline debris operations, and support eligibility for FEMA reimbursement. End Recommendation: Staff recommends approval. Proposed Motion: I move approval of the Interlocal Agreements with Pinellas County.
